Dear Family and Friends,

I feel it a great privilege to be part of this momentous event.

I will be joining with hundreds of Lomdim, and together we will BE”H learn through the entire Shas in one day, כאיש אחד בלב אחד. This is a true challenge I am proud to rise to.

It is well known that the setting up of a Kollel in a community has the potential to significantly raise the standards of Yiddishkeit. This has been experienced in countless communities in numerous cities around the world, with the ברכה and encouragement of the גדולי ישראל.

The Leeds Kollel which lies in North England between Manchester and Gateshead is an example of this. For several years the Kollel has already been running, and the difference is being felt in the community.

Once again this year I will be learning in my fathers merit who's yahzeit it recently was. 
The leeds kollel are an integral part of this community and only recently organised Shabbat leeds which was an amazing success. 
Whether it's learning, shouts or just a friendly face around they are always there for us.
